Phil is the NEW GUY! He's also the general manager of the Hilton Del Mar with over 20 years of hospitality industry experience so he has a lot of practice in "being nice to people". He is originally from Italy and ended up in San Luis Obispo area. He also had a wonderful time in Japan where he attended an All Male Christian Academy via a Rotary Club. He taught English to Japanese kids in San Luis Obispo. He proudly claims that the Italian therapy is Eat when happy, eat when sad and eat when people die :-). They have 2 boys and they all moved to San Diego 2.5 years ago when he got his job at the Hilton Del Mar.
