We enjoyed learning more about Sandy as he gave his Who Am I: he is a native San Diegan, graduated from SDSU and UCSD grad school; job offer from Westgate to become Human Resources Asst. Mgr, then Manager kept him from travelling to Europe after college; then on to SDG&E in HR,  software sales for 15 years before following  his passion for stocks 12 yrs ago when he became a money manager. He's lived in Del Mar for 26 years and married 3 years ago

Patricia reminded us of Upcoming Events: Thursday night meeting/social, Demotion Party, Padres Game, Coastal Farms Tour (see dates under Upcoming Events)

We will be donating $1200 for College-Ready Baskets for Casa de Amistad (more info to come from the Community Service Committee)

La Jolla Golden Triangle Foundation will be matching our $6000 for Ukraine

Paul shared a Rotary Foundation video that made us all feel good

Dr. Michael Remson, President & CEO of San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory, talked with us about how this organization (which was started 76 years ago)  provides cradle to college music programs with a vision of enriching lives through music. They have  partnered with Rotary International Youth Exchange for 18 years to form an International Youth Symphony MusiCamp with multiple performances in July of each year.
