We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine

and our love goes out to Patricia whose son left this earthly life suddenly, and for Lou who is in hospice

We were happy to hear that Kevin is doing nicely after hip replacement surgery; Phil is doing well (but a bit behind)  full recovery from pneumonia/Covid; George continues to improve after his knee surgery; Venky has retired after 50 years with General Atomic; Di's son picked up his marriage license for an April 22 wedding; Paul was happy to see long time friend Armand  here as our speaker; Bill showed off the sweatshirt he bought on our Wolf Education Project visit

Venky (who forgot he was temporary fine-master) fined himself and Steve, just because he could.  Jan is fine-master next week and she loves to raise money for the club, so watch out

Susan reminded us of Visitors Day on April 8 when we will have District Attorney Summer Stephan here as our speaker. Ask guests and give their names to her or Molly

We learned much from Armand Olvera, a volunteer for 13 years with the San Diego Police Department's Retired Senior Volunteer Program, started in 1992. A walkie talkie is the only "weapon" they carry, but Armand's seal training (he was with Seal Team 1) serves him well. Qualifications to become a volunteer include being 50 yrs or older, semi or fully retired, valid CA driver's license, available at least 3 days/month

They encourage ride-a-longs for anyone interested and Bill asked about raising funds for much needed vehicle replacements. President Mallett presented Armand our Joshua Orphan Care Center certificate and explained all the wonderful things they do in Malawi, Africa, which we support
