DMSB ROTARY LEND A SUPPORTIVE HELPING HAND AT THE FREE FARMERS MARKET HELD AT LA COLONIA PARK IN SOLANA BEACH.
On Sunday July 26, fellow Rotarians rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at the free farmers market held in La Colonia Park, giving back to the community with warmth and dedication. Neighbors of all ages came out to take advantage of the generous offerings from several vendors throughout San Diego County. There was a variety of numerous fruits and vegetables, breads, pizza's, eggs, breakfast items amongst many other items, all provided at no cost. Rotary volunteers sorted and helped organizers with all required needs in order to keep the event running smoothly; embodying the clubs spirit of service above self. The gathering brought together neighbors, families and community members alike, turning a simple morning into an opportunity for generosity, and support for those in need of fresh and nutritious food.
