DMSB ROTARY PROVIDES STUFFED ANIMALS TO VOICES FOR CHILDREN’S FOSTER KIDS

At a recent meeting of the Del Mar-Solana Beach Rotary Club, its members collected and donated over three dozen stuffed animals – plus additional cash donations – to Voices for Children so that it could provide holiday gifts to foster children at its Holiday Parties this holiday season. For most children, the Voice for Children parities will be their only holiday celebration.
Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused children in San Diego County by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). CASAs help clear paths for foster children out of the complex, overburdened child welfare system and into safe, permanent homes. CASAs also show foster children that someone really cares about them.
