Vicky, Monica, Joe, Patricia and two of Di's friends had a wonderful experience serving lunch to 60 kids, ages 4-18 finishing their last day at Adaptive Sports and Recreation Camp. They set up and served lunch to attendees, their "buddies" and other volunteers. It was a remarkably rewarding time. I have asked the coordinator to let us know early for 2024 so that more of you can participate. You will LOVE the interaction with the kids.
Joe served Pita and Tzatziki. He convinced kids to try this as he knew they "would love it." I think he could have convinced them to try escargot.
